Application at L. monocytogenes, non-sporulated pathogenic”. That could seem obscure and particular for the non-initiated, but in fact applications of this work will have sizeable industrial impacts. CHEVREUL Institute, laboratories in the service of industry...
The Institute of Molecules and Condensed Matter in Lille, or Michel-Eugène Chevreul Institute, is a research federation approved by the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) within two regulating bodies : the USTL (Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille) and the ENSCL (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille). The goal is to assert a pole « Chemistry & Materials » in the Nord-Pas de Calais region, in partnership with the « Ecole des Mines » in Douai and the « Laboratoire des Matériaux & Procédés » in Maubeuge. Its missions : to coordinate the development & operation of shared technical wherewithal and to promote interdisciplinary projects between partners laboratories in order to implicate researchers in actions with strong potential, industrial repercussions.
